senior pelicans have white heads (like many humans)

Rescued animals are brought to the Wildlife Care Center in plastic carriers, cardboard boxes, paper sacks, and 'in hand'. Not all are able to respond, but where there is a chance volunteers like June Taylor (a true healer) assist them to full recovery.
